[Wildly Inspired]

I have checked numerous times recently and I fear this line may be no more. Their web site, at least, has had a “check back soon” message from the new management for months (as of July 29, 2004). For the most part they suffer from severe gnome-itis, but they had two advantages. First, they could be purchased individually and second, they were very inexpensive.

The detail here is average at best, downright bad in spots. I guess that’s a musket he’s carrying, but I’m not sure what happened to it. The stock is stunted and the bayonet looks like its held on with a bandana (or two-thirds of a roll of duct tape). The sword handle is a mere blob on one side. The shako is grossly oversized (the attack of the killer shakos, part 3).

The gnome-itis here is severe. The hands are huge, the legs and feet tiny. And I don’t know about you, but that’s not where my elbows are. If the new management gets the line back on its feet, they need to revisit this range and either rework the weak ones, or just retire it.
