Spanner and the Yank

Originally Published on the Spanner and the Yank Web Site. Used by permission.

Spanner and the Yank had a website which reviewed primarily horse-and-musket era figures. I ran across their site when I first started in the hobby in 2001. Their reviews greatly influenced my own (although the biting sarcasm and black humor is all mine). The world being what it is, however, they decided they would put an end to the site. I offered to host the site here, and (after a bit of persuading) they generously agreed. I had originally put all of their pages together in one section, but with the reorganization of this site in May 2005, it just made more sense to distribute their individual reviews throughout the site. However, each page which was originally published on their site will be identified as such and, further, will sport the banner you see above, with the sexy Aussie they “adopted” as their own site’s, ummmm, mascot?

So where are the Napoleonic reviews?

Good news! For a while these were hosted on another web site. But that now appears to be defunct. So you can find the old Spanner & The Yank Napoleonic reviews right here.

All Right So I have To Settle For the Rest. Where Are They?

Why, right here of course!

Well, then, where’s the rest of it?

Easy now, just click here.

Note: I have reorganized all of the miniature reviews. They are now grouped by period and/or genre. Within period, they are in alphabetical order by manufacturer.
